In memory of Sonia who lived each day as if it were her last. She did not put off until tomorrow what she could do today. She loved deeply and forgave easily. She was an adventurous traveler and circumvented the globe. Sonia was a respected leader in her community and was President of Mujeres Latinas De Stanislaus, a non-profit dedicated to promoting health, education and leadership to women and their families.
Sonia had gone through so much in her short life. She was widowed with a little boy after losing her first husband Carlos and took comfort and strength from her faith in God. She found love again with her new husband, Fausto, and together they were overjoyed with the blessing of a baby boy. Tragically, Sonia was lost to complications from AFE during the delivery. Her sons Emiliano and Elias are healthy and thriving.
