Larissa was a kind and giving soul. A member of the Ojibwe tribe, caring for others was an inherent part of her Native American heritage. ⠀⠀⠀

“Riss” loved children, and was the first to step up to offer her heart and her home to those in need. She was a foster mom and lovingly cared for a friend’s children when her friend was faced with tragedy. ⠀⠀⠀

A mother of three, she was so excited to welcome another son. Sadly, Larissa suffered an AFE during her delivery and lost her fight several months later. May she be at peace knowing the kindness she so often displayed has been returned to her family and that her children are continuing her legacy of love.
